Automotive Properties REIT Announces Initial Cash Distribution

Toronto, August 20, 2015 – Automotive Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: APR.UN) (the “REIT”) today announced its initial cash distribution of $0.089 per unit. The initial distribution includes $0.022 per unit for the period from July 22, 2015 (the closing date of the REIT’s initial public offering) to July 31, 2015, and $0.067 per unit for the month of August 2015. Payment of the initial distribution will be made on September 15, 2015 to unitholders of record as at the close of business on August 31, 2015. The REIT currently intends to make subsequent regular monthly distributions of $0.067 per unit commencing in October 2015, representing $0.80 per unit on an annualized basis.
The policy of the REIT is to pay cash distributions on or about the 15th day of each month to the unitholders of record at the close of business on the last business day of the preceding month.
